Organized sessions will be organized in the technical program of IEEE RO-MAN 2013. Each organized session is expected to consist of at least 5 papers about topics from multiple viewpoints with unifying themes in the emerging technologies, industry and government initiatives in robot-human interactive communication such as, but not limited to, Human Perception, Cognition, Reasoning, Expression, Communication and Assistance in Service Industries, Home or Public Places.

Proposals are due January 30, 2013. The one to two-page proposal should contain a clear and concise description of the following elements:

• Title of the session
• Names and contact information for all organizers (affiliation, mailing address, e-mail, URL, phone/fax number)
• A brief summary of the session: objective and relevance to the conference themes
• Contributing authors (anticipated or confirmed – names and affiliations) and tentative paper titles
